Eligibility for Admission
Students who have completed Plus 2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects or any other examination recognized by the KAU as equivalent are aligible for the admission. Twenty percent of the seats are reserved for those who have VHSc (Agri) qualification. For the open seats, candidates are selected based on the total percentage of marks scored in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the plus 2 course. If there is a tie, the percentage of marks in Mathematics and English are considered in that order.If there is a tie even after that, the date of birth is considered with older candidate getting priority. For reserved seats, selection is done based on the marks of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Agriculture subjects in the VHSc (Agri) course.
Mode of Admission
The selection notification will be issued by the university and selection list is prepared as described above. Admission is given by the special officer from the list following the reservation rules of Government of Kerala.
Academic Regulations
Academic Regulations and syllabus for the programme will be issued to all the students at the time of admission.
Curricula Development/Revision Process
Semester-course-credit system is followed for the diploma programme with internal evaluation. The curriculum is approved by the Board of Studies and Academic Council which are statutory bodies of the University.
